Lucky for us\, Alberta Printmakers is one of the few places in the province that offers lithography stones and equipment for use!  \nThis course is suitable for all levels with no prior experience needed. Participants will learn how to prepare\, draw\, etch\, and print a litho stone to make a small edition.  \nWhat you’ll learn: ​​​​\n\nHow to prepare a grain\, level and prepare a litho stone\nDrawing techniques for lithography\nHow to etch a litho stone\nHow to prepare paper for registration\nHow to print a lithograph  properly using the press\n\n\nAbout the instructor:\nJamie-Lee Girodat completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Lethbridge and a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking at the University of Alberta. Her interest in genetic history\, health\, and ethics informs her practice in print media\, drawing\, and animation.
