SUMMARY:Spring it On!
DESCRIPTION:Come design and carve your own card and have it printed on the Nolan Proof Press! \nAP staff will help direct the basics of linocut carving to help you achieve the best results. You will also be ables to set your own type and pull the prints off the Nolan Proof Press with the assistance of staff. All designs will be printed on specialty\, scored\, paper to create cards. \nYou will be able to take a set of five home to share and spread the love!\nNo previous experience necessary! \nThe event will include:\n– A directed carving session on lino\n– Pulling your own prints off the letterpress with the assistance of staff\n– Paper size is 4 x 5.5 inches\n– Participants will leave with a total of 5 cards \nWho is it for?\nAdults\n18+ \nAll supplies are included! \n  \nEvent Registration Fee\n$45.00 for a single participant \nOR \n$75.00 for two participants \nprices not subject to GST \n\n  \nThis event includes all project supplies\, participants are recommended to prepare:\n\nImage ideas for carving at the size of 4 x 5.5″\nPark in the stalls located in front of A/P or use free street parking.\nBring reading glasses if you need them for fine work.\nWear suitable clothing for working with ink and/or a work apron.\nWear close toed shoes and avoid overly loose long sleeves.\nTie back long hair when operating machinery.\nPersonal PPE (if uncomfortable with Shared Studio PPE)\n\n\n  \nAdditional Notes: \n\nEvent limited to 12 Participants\nThis event is open to children ages 12 and up. All participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by either a parent or guardian who is also registered.\n\n—————————————————————————\n\n  \nCode of Conduct:\nTo support an environment which promotes dignity and respect to all\, no form of intimidation\, bullying or harassment will be tolerated. Should this type of behaviour occur\, the A/P host and/or instructor reserves the right to remove any individuals from the workshop. \n  \nAccommodation & Diversity:\nPlease inform A/P of any accessibility barrier(s) that may prevent you from getting the full benefit of participating in this program. Registrants who cancel with 6 days or less notice will receive 50% of their registration fee. Once the class or workshop has begun\, A/P is unable to issue a refund as we are subject to a minimum enrolment in order to run. \nIf A/P cancels a course due to low enrolment\, notice will be given at least 72 hours in advance with a full refund issued. For classes cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances\, registrants will receive a full refund.
