Mokulito Print Demonstration with Margaret Joba-Woodruff

Exhibiting artist, Margaret Joba-Woodruff will be demonstrating Mokulito* printing, which she uses in her current exhibition, Ashes! Ashes!. 

*Mokulito is a lithography printmaking technique that uses wood as a matrix instead of limestone. 

There will be an opportunity to meet and mingle with the artist and other community members at this event.

Join us for the Opening Reception of Ashes! Ashes! by Margaret Joba-Woodruff

The artist will be in attendance, and light refreshments will be served.

“Soot on the inside of a fireplace. Drops of candle wax on a dining table. A felt blanket draped over the armrest of a chair. Ashes! Ashes! is an exhibition grounded in the materials of charcoal, beeswax, paper and wool combined with printed gestures of cutting, redrawing, and wiping away. As I reflect on the 14 houses that I have moved in and out of over the last decade, I turn to drawing as both an archival and speculative practice. The works exhibited here trace both real memories and imagined scenarios of these homes and the 25 people I shared them with, manipulating the images through techniques of monotype, collagraph, and mokulito to reveal themes of comfort, deterioration, and repair…”

2025 Not So Mini Exhibition and Auction!

Saturday, December 6 at noon (MST) until Friday, December 12 at 9pm (MST)

Each year, A/P hosts a print exchange and exhibition in conjunction with an exciting sale and silent auction fundraiser!

Participants from around the globe submit an edition of ten original prints (with a maximum size of 8″ x 10″) to exchange with each other.  Two impressions of each edition are retained by A/P to sell and auction to lucky buyers/bidders at affordable rates.

The annual Not So Mini has become our most anticipated event of the year that showcases the work of local and international printmakers, with all funds raised directly supporting A/P’s community programming.
