During July and August 2026, 9 local youth explored tactile printmaking techniques to interpret their world through art. Using linocut and monotype, they translated ideas, images, and materials that inspire them into their own forms of expressive mark-making.

Each of their artworks will be featured in the Crescent Heights Mini Galleries in 2 consecutive exhibitions. Expressions in Print: Monotype is the second of these 2 exhibitions.

Print(ed) Word is a collection of artist books that were created through pairing 12 local writers with 12 local print-artists who collaborated in reimagining existing texts into hand-made book forms.
