The creative process involves engaging with the world around you, and transforming your interpretations into individual expression.

During July and August 2026, 9 local youth explored tactile printmaking techniques to interpret their world through art. Using linocut and monotype, they translated ideas, images, and materials that inspire them into their own forms of expressive mark-making.

Each of their artworks will be featured in the Crescent Heights Mini Galleries in 2 consecutive exhibitions. Expressions in Print: Linocut is the first of these 2 exhibitions.

Location: Crescent Heights Mini Galleries, Located in Rotary Park, 617 1st Street NE

Guided Walking Tour and Linocut Demonstration:  Sunday, September 13 from 1-3pm 

Join us for a guided walking tour, starting at Gallery #1.  We will tour each of the artworks before providing a carving, inking, and printing demonstration at the end of the tour near Gallery #6.

*Expressions in Print: Monotype will be presented in the Crescent Heights Mini Galleries from November 14, 2026 to January 11, 2027.
