TIME: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
INSTRUCTOR: Jamie-Lee Girodat
COURSE SUMMARY:
Want to learn how to print colour photographs?
CMYK photolithography involves using four plates to make prints in colour. Made with oil based ink, it makes for a wonderful process to be combined with other traditional printmaking methods.
This course will cover how to print colour photographs using photolithography plates and a
traditional lithography press. Participants will learn how to digitally separate and prepare an
image to be printed on a transparency for exposure, how to modify ink and and how to register for multiple plates. This course is suitable for anyone with prior photolithography
experience or has taken “Photolithography Basics” in the past.
Please Note: This is a single night of instruction. Participants will learn from a demo image provided.
