Print(ed) Word is a collection of artist books that were created through pairing 12 local writers with 12 local print-artists who collaborated in reimagining existing texts into hand-made book forms. 

This project was led by A/P and Loft 112 with funding support from Canada Council for the Arts. The permanent installation in Calgary's Central Library was made possible through the support of Calgary Public Library, Calgary Public Library Foundation, and the J K L MacLachlan Family Foundation.

Intro to Reduction Linocut

COURSE SUMMARY:
This is an intro to the multi-colour reduction linocut process! Learn to make engaging linocut prints using a variety of mark-making carving techniques and printing a single linocut in multiple colours.

This 4-evening workshop will cover image development for a 2-layer reduction linocut. The learning in the workshop will take place through technical demonstrations and hands-on experience.
